Individual Skills Assessment
Developing the skills of an individual Business Analyst is no simple task. Not only are most Business Analysts at different skills levels but the specific skills sets that they require differ from organisation to the next. Getting skills in the organisation up to a common level will therefore remain a consistent challenge. Any attempt to improve skills levels to a common level for the organisation will require some insight into the existing skills levels and imbalances.
For this reason, IndigoCube offers a comprehensive Individual Skills Assessment. The assessment consists of several modules that allow it to be tailored to the specific skills requirements of the organisation before it is executed. We use the output from such an individual assessment to tailor training and skills development initiatives for the organisation as well as for the individual.
In addition to assessing skills levels IndigoCube also offers the option of an Individual Profile Assessment for the Business Analysis role. This assessment utilises an internationally recognised profiling tool that has been customised in conjunction with the author to suit the role of the Business Analyst. This assessment determines the suitability of the individual for the role of Business Analyst.
Organisational Maturity Assessment
Optimising the value of Business Analysis with organisations is a significant challenge. The skills shortage, the absence of standards in the organisation and the typical fragmented application of the Business Analysis function are primary contributory factors.
